hola a todos, soy nuevo por aquí aunque ya hace mis años que tengo mi dreamcast.
Mi pregunta es si alguien sabe diferencias entre el D2 que tiene la tia en la portada i el que tiene la esfera terrestre, el juego será el mismo supongo pero me gustaria saber si hay versiones limitadas o alguna razon. Es mera curiosidad.

Sobre el D2 japonés, no te puedo ayudar mucho. Creo que no hay diferencias en el juego, simplemente unas versiones son más limitadas que otras.

vale, en esta pagina te explican que hay 3 versiones limitadas, en todas sale el planeta tierra pero son algo diferentes unas de las otras.

Por casualidades de la vida lo he comprado en un mercadillo y habia un chico por allí que me ha comentado que podia ser una version limitada, como he dicho pura curiosidad. Gracias por todo.

Hola a todos. el juego d2 de warp fue uno de los mejores de dreamcast y nos dejo con la icertidumbre de hasta donde podia llegar su potencia. Se que suena bastante descabellado pero aqui hay mucha gente no pudo disfrutar
de este juego por la dificultad del idioma. Por eso me gustaria que dierais vuestra opinion sobre una posible traduccion de este juego, ya que existen traducciones de los shenmue 1 y 2. Es muy complicado por el tema de no contener subtitulos? o por su programacion?.

Kenji Endo the creator of D for the 3DO, Saturn and PlayStation brings us D2 which was originally a M2 (3DO 2) game until the hardware was scrapped by Matsushita (Panasonic). Unlike the first D saga this game is in full real time and even though this was one of the first Dreamcast games to ever start being produced back in early 1998 or maybe even as far back as 1997, it still looks great now in 2004.

D2 takes place in the snowy mountains of Canada after the plain that our hereon, Lara was on crashed. Not all is as it would expect to be though. The plain was brought down by some mysterious powers that have changed the inhabitance of the snowy mountains in to mutant human/creatures. Lara must find out what is happening and the reason of why she is there (She's suffering from amnesia, you see).

You will not be disappointed with this game in any department. The voice acting is great (NOT IN THE US VERSION), the background music which was composed by Kenji Endo is fit for a feature film. Camera work is amazing putting Shenmue to shame at times. Finally, the story is so intriguing that you'll find yourself lost with in it.

Get the Japanese version of D2 now or if you prefer the bad English dubbed version with censored scenes then go for the US version. The version shown above is the normal print which is in fact harder to find than the limited 1st print covers.

At first I just passed D2 Shock off as being a pre-view of the released game D2 that comes with some copies of Real Sound on the Dreamcast (I've heard from a few people with Real Sound who said that they never received the D2 Shock disc.) Not until the other day did I realize that I was wrong. I had just finished D2 (Japanese uncensored version) when I decided to put on the D2 Shock disc for no reason what so ever. Then it hit me. The version of D2 Shock is in fact an early build of the game, a beta if you will. The amount of detail that differs from the final game is amazing. The title screen is different, allowing the D2 logo to be zoomed as well as spun. The character textures are far lower. Kimberly has pointed breasts and a square bottom. The sound quality is also no where near as good as the final. The snow bike section allows you to have a first person view plus a back view that aren't in the final game. There are many other differences too that will be covered in a future Segagaga Domain feature on D2 Shock Vs D2 Final release.

Resumiendo Un release o beta es lo que es el D2 Shock, el que aparece con la cara de la prota, es la edición normal, las otras 3 con los planetas son: Versión Felicidad, Versión Eclipse y Versión Esperanza

El problema es que he estado consultandolo y no se pueden traducir los textos por que no hay subtitulos. Habria otra manera?:|

La unica yo creo seria integrandole los textos!

Pero no es tan facil como una traduccion de juegos, como este juego no contiene subtitulos habira que meterle los textos a los graficos directamente

Programacion y todo eso..a si que ni idea

Otra idea que veo factible, seria doblar los diálogos al español, con un buen equipo de sonido y grabación y convertirlos al formato que use el juego, sustituirlos, como hizo Ryo Suzuki en el doblaje y traducción del Half Life de Dreamcast, pero no se si en este juego podría realizarse.

A mi me encantaría meterme con algún proyecto, ya sea de traducción o portar algún juego a Dreamcast...pero no tengo los programas necesarios para ello.

El problema es que no hay version pc, o si la hay? Rio saco los audios de la version pc del Half life.

No, no hay versión PC, pero lo de sustituir los audios es lo único que creo que funcionaria.

Pero se necesitaría un buen equipo de grabación y gente para poner las voces.

Luego si el juego no esta encriptado y si se pueden sacar los archivos de audio pues hacerlo y sustituir por los nuevos con voces en español..

Es una tarea difícil, peor en caso de poder encontrar los archivos de audio del juego lo veo viable.

Tengo la dreamcast pal y me compre el D2 japones, tengo el utopia i m arranca bien, lo unico que cuando canvio al gd 2 m pone algo en japones i no m arranca, no se si se tiene k acer algo o tengo k volver a poner el utopia, gracias

El juego es original u copia? puede que el utopia para originales no termine de funcionar. No obstante alguien más experimentado que arroje luz?
