Dream Photo Manager 1.0.0 README

What is Dream Photo Manager?
----------------------------

Dream Photo Manager is a program for the Sega Dreamcast to manage pictures on
a Dreameye camera. If you don't have a Dreameye, thus its pretty useless.

Basically, Dream Photo Manager was just a nice little test program that I
wrote to make sure KOS' Dreameye driver was working well (while I was working
on it initially) which I decided would be a good idea to release. The Dreameye
driver itself is pretty experimental (I'm the only person who's tested it
really at all), so I'm sure there's bugs. I hope this will help get some of
the bugs that will inevitably exist sorted out (so if you find any bugs, please
report them).

How do I use Dream Photo Manager?
---------------------------------

The 1ST_READ.BIN file included in the release is a scrambled binary suitable
for use with whatever burning method you use (such as BootDreams). How to
actually burn a disc is beyond the scope of this document.

As for using the program, you must have a standard controller and a Dreameye
plugged in to use it. You can cycle through the pictures on the Dreameye with
left and right on the dpad, and delete an image with Y. Other than that, there's
not much to do with Dream Photo Manager at this point.

What is required to compile Dream Photo Manager?
------------------------------------------------

You'll need a pretty up-to-date version of KallistiOS from the Subversion
repository to even have a chance to compile Dream Photo Manager. Real Dreameye
support in KOS appeared in r626, so you'll need at least that version (later
versions will hopefully work as well). Other than that, everything you'll need
is either in KOS proper or in the kos-ports tree.
